In 2015 TECHPRODUCTION WORLDWIDE experts in cooperation with the German company Adhoc implemented an unprecedented project – a world’s first 3D mapping installation show on a regular basis. Prior to this project, 3D mapping all over the world had been just a temporary installation for a particular event, but only in the Pearl of the Orient where, according to ancient legends happen any miracles, at the very heart of Samarkand – Registan Square – a 3D mapping installation was arranged on a regular basis.
This ambitious project has been developed for years and it included a wide range of ideas for creating a new miracle in this ancient capital of Asia: an architectural lighting of all three buildings – Ulugh Beg, Sherdor and Tillya-Kori, an installation of the most modern panoramic sound system and a 3D mapping show on Tillya-Kori Madrasah. For almost two years the experts from Uzbekistan, Germany, Russia and a number of other countries have been developing a concept of the show, designing detailed plans for all system levels and, of course, the creation of the content has become an apogee of the whole project.
The show opens to the world a new independent Uzbekistan through a millennial history of cultural development of the country. Nowadays tourists from all parts of the world are striving to Uzbekistan to enjoy this technical and cultural miracle at the heart of ancient Samarkand.
